Libertarians, both me and you agree that the Federal Reserve is OUT OF CONTROL. But what is your alternative..?

Fiat currency has let the bankers rob the people of their wealth mostly the middle class that save money but are not sophisticated investors. No one looses when the value of money is stable except those who wish to manipulate the supply of money in order to create exaggerated booms and bust in order to essentially steal others wealth. If there is no need to control the money supply then what purpose is the FED.
