I don't make noises when I make out, should I?

I noticed it last time my boyfriend and I made out, he's like moaning the whole time, so I know he likes it, but I tend to lose my breath because I'm enjoying it, do guys pick up on that? or should I make noises? He told me he likes it that while kissing my neck I get breathless, but I don't know if he picks up on it while we kiss. Sorry he's my first boyfriend so I'm a little late on the train
